Presentation Academy Students Honor Victims of Human Trafficking
Students at Presentation Academy participated in the Red Sand Project, a community-based initiative designed to raise awareness about human trafficking and exploitation. As part of the project, students poured red sand into sidewalk cracks and added written messages to create a visible reminder of individuals who are often unseen or unheard. This public display encouraged reflection on the realities of human trafficking and the importance of attentiveness and care within the community. In connection with the recent Kentucky Derby, recognized as the second-largest event in the country for human trafficking activity, the project served as a call to the collective responsibility to protect the dignity and safety of all individuals.
