Schedule your shadow visit today! Come spend the day with a Pres Girl to discover everything Pres has to offer you. You'll sit in on classes, meet students and teachers, dine in the Pres Café, and tour our historic campus.

Shadowing is open to all eighth-grade and seventh-grade students this Spring! We ask for at least 72 hours notice to set up the shadow experience.

Dates to Avoid:
- March 29: No School
- April 1-5: Spring Break
- April 8: Online Day
- April 26
- May 2-3: Thurby and Oaks Day
- May 6: Concert Rehearsal (No classes) 
The last day to shadow for the 2023-2024 school year is Tuesday, May 7th.

​How do I schedule a shadowing experience?
Contact our Admissions team at 502-583-5935 or have a parent/guardian fill out the "Schedule a Shadow Visit" form.

What do I wear?
Anything! Well, maybe not anything. Please no short shorts/skirts or midriff-bearing tops. Jeans, sweats, and basketball shorts are acceptable––we want you to be comfortable.

What should I bring?
Just yourself. Don't worry about lunch - it's on us!

What time should I arrive and when should I leave?
You’ll arrive at 8:30 a.m. and meet your shadow host. The shadow day ends at 2:00 p.m. except on Wednesdays, it ends at 1:00 p.m. since we dismiss from school early. If the pickup time does not work, please let our admissions team know so we can coordinate a time that works best for you and your family.

Where should I go when I arrive?
Please enter through the “Breck Entrance.” This door is located along Breckinridge Street and is marked with a blue awning. Simply ring the bell. Your shadow host and Admissions staff will greet you once inside.

Who will be my host?
Pres will match you with a student suited to your academic and extracurricular interests. Should you happen to know a current Pres Girl, feel free to request her as your host on your shadow inquiry form.
