Art Department

The Pres art department is a vibrant and dynamic hub of creativity, providing students with a rich environment to explore and express their artistic talents. Housed in our Arts & Athletic Center, the art studio is equipped with ample natural light and a wide array of art supplies, from traditional mediums like paint and clay to cutting-edge digital tools.

Led by artist Kelly Allen, the department offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various disciplines, including drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, graphic design, and multimedia arts. With a focus on both technical skill development and conceptual exploration, students are encouraged to push boundaries and think critically about their artistic practice.

What sets our art department apart is its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive community where students of all skill levels feel empowered to express themselves freely. Through hands-on projects, collaborative initiatives, and regular critiques, students not only hone their craft but also develop valuable communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

The art department regularly organizes exhibitions to celebrate student achievements and engage with the wider school community. Whether it's through mural projects beautifying campus walls or collaborative installations sparking conversation, art becomes a powerful vehicle for self-expression and social commentary.

Overall, the art department is not just a place to learn about art—it's a space where creativity thrives, individuality is celebrated, and lifelong passions are ignited.
