This camp will teach campers the fundamentals of archery, as well as the art of a shot setup. We will start with the safety of proper shooting etiquette and then move into developing the skills used by a top shooter. We follow NASP and KHSAA regulations to give archers the experience of what to expect at a regional or state tournament.

This clinic will help players of all abilities develop athletically, refine fundamental basketball skills and enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position.

Welcome to our Art Around the World Camp!! Embark on a creative journey as we explore the rich tapestry of art and cultures from across the globe. Our camp is designed to ignite the imaginations of young artists and cultivate an appreciation for the diversity of artistic expressions found in different cultures. Campers will learn about and create different forms of art making each day, such as paintings, sculptures, textiles, and more, inspired by different regions around the world.
June 17-21; 9:00-noon each day
For incoming 6th-8th graders
Each day, campers will be briefly introduced to a new math topic and then explore that topic through an art project. Possible projects include tessellations, origami, mandalas, 3-D string art, fibonacci sequence art, spirolaterals, pi-inspired art, and reflections. We will create using paper and other media, the laser cutter, and the 3D printer.
June 17 – 19, 2024; 1-3pm each day
For incoming 6th-9th graders
This camp will feature hands-on lab work and lots of time documenting crime scenes.
The L.M.P.D. Crime Scene Unit (CSU): Assists the lead investigator at a crime scene by photographing, preserving, collecting, processing, packaging, and transporting evidence that requires special handling, or testing, by the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Forensic Laboratory or another appropriate outside testing facility.

All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on serving, passing, setting, and hitting.

Ready to take center stage? Join our Drama Camp and learn the creative process behind theater. We have an entire week full of activities like fun improvisation games and hands-on technical building, all culminating in a group performance to put on for your friends and family.
June 11 & 12; 5-7pm each day
For incoming 5th-9th graders
This camp is open to all levels of golfers. Participants will learn the basics of golf including different clubs, rules, and course etiquette. Athletes will spend time on the driving range, putting green, and par three course. This camp will take place on the Shawnee Golf Course and clubs will be provided if participants don’t own their own.
June 10 – 12, 2024; 1-3pm each day
For incoming 7th – 9th graders
This camp will cover the basic skills that will help students to be successful in high school, including study tips and strategies, organization skills, planning and follow-through, effective note-taking skills, and communication with teachers. Students will practice applying these skills across core classes, such as English, Math, Science and Social Studies.
