Presentation Academy Students Celebrate Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day, students at Presentation Academy participated in a series of meaningful activities centered on environmental stewardship. Leading up to Earth Day, students created posters highlighting the importance of protecting the Earth and caring for all who inhabit it. On Earth Day, students gathered in their theology classes to pray for the Earth and all its inhabitants, stating, “Creator God, we thank you for all of creation. We ask your forgiveness where we have failed to be just stewards. And we now ask for your guidance in restoring the face of the earth.” Following prayer, they participated in a walk downtown to share their message with the community. Finally, they created a display of their posters at the corner of Fourth St. and Breckinridge St., where they stood as a visible reminder of their commitment to caring for the planet. Together, they provided a meaningful reminder that even small actions can make a difference.
