Sr. Miriam Corcoran Scholarship

Sr. Miriam Corcoran, SCN ’41 served as a teacher and speech/drama director at Pres, as well as the Outreach Minister later in life. She personally attended visitations and funerals of Pres alumnae, as well as spouses, mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters of alumnae. A Tower Award recipient in 2010, she also taught at Archbishop Williams High School and Spalding University. Several years ago, Presentation’s Class of 1963 formed the Sister Miriam Corcoran Scholarship, which is given to three rising sophomores every year.
