Join us as we take our "Hats Off" to these outstanding women! Everyone is welcome to attend the Hats Off Alumnae Cocktail Reception on Monday, April 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Arts and Athletic Center, 900 S. Fourth St.
Appetizers at 5:30 p.m., with the awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. We will also have a Pres student artwork, Craft Club and Campus Store items for sale.
Tickets are $40, with proceeds benefiting the Sisterhood Scholarship. Deadline to purchase tickets is April 15. Questions? Dorothy Gatton Manning '64 | Alumna of the Year
A core member of the Wednesday craft/archives group, Dorothy attended events pre-Covid to staff the booth, with 100% of the proceeds going to Pres. She is the archivist for Pres, steadfastly taking that role to lead us in the preservation of our past and present. She ensures accuracy of details for each class' ongoing events and milestones, as well as the archival quality of the records. The co-founder of the Class of 1964 Presentation scholarship, she has worked phone-a-thons and is a former Alumnae Board member. Dorothy has taken over Pres' bereavement ministry, searching for deceased alumnae, family members of alumnae, and former teachers/friends of Presentation. Personal notes from Pres are then sent to loved ones.
Dorothy is a graduate of Spalding University, majoring in History. Professionally, she was Third Shift Supervisor of Jefferson County District Court. She attends St. Louis Bertrand Church and was a volunteer at both the church and school at St. Leonard.

Amelia Kolb ‘15 | Young Alumna of the Year
Amelia has taken the values instilled in her by Presentation Academy and put them to use in her everyday life. She exemplified the value of leadership during her time as a Fulbright Scholar in Mexico where she served as a teacher. She continues to be a leader in her current position as the Leadership, Diversity, and Volunteerism Coordinator with Western Kentucky University. As Amelia continues her leadership work with WKU she is pursuing her Master’s in Student Affairs in Higher Education. Amelia Kolb is a brilliant example of the work Pres Girls continue to do long after they leave her hallowed halls.

Donna Sansone | Topper Service Award
A graduate of Angela Merici High School, Donna has been actively involved at Presentation Academy for several years, starting when her granddaughter, Taylor Sansone '17, was a student. Donna makes the cards found in our Alumnae room and, before COVID, helped staff the Craft Club’s booth at events.
Donna has been deeply involved in Catholic Education as both teacher and principal. Named the Outstanding Catholic School Principal of the Archdiocese of Louisville, Donna served as the last principal at St. Thomas More School. After the creation of St. Nicholas Academy, a regional school created from merging four parish schools, she became the principal at one of the two campuses.
Presentation is not the only beneficiary of her work. She is active with Little Way (working to save unborn babies from abortion), is the manager of Twice Blessed (St. Thomas More’s thrift store) and is GriefShare volunteer facilitator for St. Thomas More and Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Donna helps with seasonal parties at Nazareth Home Clifton and during COVID lockdown has been collecting gift cards given to Nazareth Home staff in appreciation of the care being given to residents.
