Cultural Trips

Cultural trips allow Pres Girls to grow in their learning within the comfort of their own school community by traveling with fellow students and staff. Along with the structure provided by a well-known program, students experience  24-7 support, guided tours, and language support throughout their trip. Students learn first hand about different countries and cultures by visiting famous sights, sampling new cuisine, and going on fun excursions.

  • Tours are offered every other year with EF Education Tours to all current freshmen, sophomores and juniors.
  • Focused on cultural experience, language exposure and academics.
  • 2016 trip was to the British Isles.
  • The 2018 trip will take place in the Alps, Provence and Barcelona (Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain).
  • "EF's educational philosophy is simple: the best way to help students gain new perspectives and build skills for the future is through experiential learning." - EF Educational Tours

“My favorite part about traveling abroad is seeing all the beautiful architecture and trying new things. The most challenging part about traveling abroad was getting adjusted to the time difference, but that only took a couple days. The cultural difference that surprised me most was how there were almost no cars. Everyone traveled by buses, underground subways, bikes, and even walking. Students that are considering traveling abroad should definitely do it! It's a once in a lifetime experience and you will have so much fun! You will learn so much about different areas of the world and will never forget the memories you make!”
- Casey Peter Class of ‘19
