Carole Moch Baines '55 Scholarship

The epitome of a servant-leader, Carole Moch Baines '55 had a love for her family and for Presentation Academy that was evident in all that she did. Whether it was selling Pres Spirit Wear at an event, decorating for fundraisers, designing and shepherding the Alumnae Archives Room, or baking for student retreats, Carole was always ready to step up to the need. She was a founding member of the Craft Club, a group of women who create various items in support of school fundraisers.
Carole received Presentation’s Alumna of the Year Award in 2008, and the Topper Service Award in 2019. She was recognized by the Archdiocese of Louisville in 2016 with the Outstanding School Volunteer Award, and because of her dedication to Pres, a scholarship was created in her honor. She was also an active member of St. Martha parish, devoting much of her energy to organizations within the church. She visited elderly sick friends and relatives who were homebound or in nursing homes, and she willingly donated her time and crafts to various groups.
Carole passed away on Feb. 23, 2021. The Carole Moch Baines ’55 Scholarship is awarded to Pres Girls who demonstrate financial need. Thank you for supporting this scholarship and our Pres Girls!
