- The raffle drawing shall be held on March 17, 2012, 10 AM, at Presentation Academy, 861 S. 4th Street, Louisville, Kentucky.
- The raffle prize is $50,000 cash. Each raffle ticket will cost $100.00. More than one person may share in the raffle ticket purchase. The prize will be distributed to the name or names as they appear on the ticket stub.
- A maximum of 1,000 tickets will be sold. In the event that 1,000 tickets are not sold, the cash prize will be equal to fifty percent (50%) of the gross proceeds of actual tickets sold.
- Ticket stubs cannot be sent through the mail. Purchaser may pick up his or her ticket stubs on the day of the raffle.
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- All tickets must be received by the drawing date, or prior to the sale of 1,000 tickets, whichever comes sooner, to be eligible for the drawing. Each ticket is a separate and equal chance to win the prize. Any tickets received after the drawing has been held, or after 1,000 tickets have been sold, will be returned to the purchaser and money refunded.
- Winner need not be present to win. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or mail.
- Winner is responsible for paying all applicable taxes on the winnings. Winner agrees to pay 25% federal income tax withholding to Presentation Academy prior to release of the cash prize. Presentation Academy will remit the taxes collected to the IRS. After the end of the calendar year, Presentation Academy will file a form W-2G with the IRS to report the value of the prize won and the taxes paid in by the winner. The winner will also receive a copy of this.
- Proceeds of the raffle are for the benefit of Presentation Academy, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization registered with the Secretary of State of Kentucky (Kentucky charitable gaming license #0107).
