Sophomores & Juniors Sophomores and juniors have the opportunity to shadow professionals in three different careers of interest. Following their shadowing experience, they have the opportunity to be mentored in one of these areas. Internship Leads Shannon Shaughnessy to Meeting with "Top Model" Judge Nigel Barker
A summer internship through Presentation Academy led student Shannon Shaughnessy to a meeting and lunch with fashion photographer Nigel Barker, who serves as a judge on the popular "America's Next Top Model" reality show on The CW network.
Shaughnessy's meeting with the reality show star came during a two-week internship with local freelance fashion consultant Jo Ross. The 17-year-old helped Ross conduct a "Fashion Camp" for girls ages 6-12 at The Summit retail center in eastern Jefferson County. |
