Senior Commits to Belarmine University
Senior Emily Belsoff has signed to play field hockey with the Belarmine Knights. Along with 2 other seniors she was honored with a signing party March 25th. Though she will be missed at Pres Coach O'Bryan expressed how proud she is of Emily who she has coached since she played at St. Agnes in grade school.
Toppers Win Pool in Gateway Field Hockey Classic 2008!
The Toppers traveled to St. Louis over Labor Day weekend to compete in the Gateway Field Hockey Classic. Pres handily won each of their games over the weekend defeating Brentwood (MO) 10-0, Lake Forest Academy (IL) 4-1 and Rockwood Summit (MO) 10-0. GREAT JOB TOPPERS!
About The Coaches
Head Coach Jill O'Bryan returns for her 4th season with the Toppers. Coach O'Bryan played at Holy Rosary Academy and Kent State University. Coach O'Bryan has continually been involved in the game through refereeing and playing in adult leagues. Coach O'Bryan also coaches her daughter at St. Agnes where she has won several CSAA City Championships.
Assistant Coach Megan Maguire returns for her 4th season as a coach with the Toppers. She has served as Junior Varsity head coach as well as Varsity Assistant. Coach Maguire played for Pres for the 1996-2000 seasons as they revived the sport here at Pres after an absence from having a team. Coach Maguire went on to play in college at Bellarmine University. Maguire also has remained involved in the game through refereeing and adult leagues.
