Presentation Academy has a long and rich heritage beginning with its founding in 1831 by Mother Catherine Spalding. The Alumnae Association, in the spirit of Catherine Spalding and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, supports the tradition of educating young women by promoting an active and supportive alumnae membership. It is hoped that life-giving relationships can be maintained both among alumnae and between the Alumnae Association and the school. These relationships foster and further the continued growth of the Alumnae Association’s membership and of the school in professional, social, spiritual, educational, financial, and community endeavors.
The Alumnae Association sponsors the annual Light Up the Tower, the Senior Alumnae Induction Luncheon, the Hall of Fame, Alumna of the Year, and Honorary Alumnus/Alumna awards. The Alumnae Association assists in Presentation’s Open House, phonathon, and also participates in community service projects.

Presentation Academy’s first combined Alumna of the Year and Hall of Fame ceremony and reception was held on April 27, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. in the Presentation gymnasium.

2007 LIGHT UP THE TOWER
The 2007 Light Up the Tower, sponsored by the Alumnae Association, will be held on Sunday, December 2 from 4 - 7 p.m. There will be a silent auction, boutique, crafts for children, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a dinner sponsored by the Pres Parent Association. The official lighting will take place at approximately 6:45 p.m.
