Welcome to Presentation Academy! Something wonderful happens when you become a Pres Girl. You become part of a close-knit family that stretches back for many generations. Sisterhood and friendship are important values at Presentation Academy. In order to optimize your learning experience you first have to be comfortable with your surroundings, which include a nurturing faculty, friendly students and the facility itself, which is just the right size and nestled snug near the heart of the city. We would love to get to know you better, so here are some ways to learn more about Pres:
Shadowing
A current Pres student will be your host for the day and will help you experience our family-style environment. Eighth graders may shadow beginning in mid-September and seventh graders can shadow starting in January. Please have a parent or guardian call Presentation Academy at (502) 583-5935 or click the Prospective Parents link on this page. Shadow requests must be made within 72 hours of the shadowing date.
Open House
Each year on the third Sunday in November all grade school girls are invited to come see all that Pres has to offer, take a personal tour of the building and meet our students and faculty.
Placement Test
The placement test is open to all eighth grade girls and is the first step to becoming a Pres Girl. There is no need to pre-register for the test - just come to Pres on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. You will need to bring two #2 pencils and $15 to cover the test fee.
Incoming Freshmen Lock-In
Each year in February, all eighth grade girls that have taken the placement test at Presentation Academy are invited to a lock-in sponsored by the junior class. The lock-in is a great way to meet other members of the incoming freshman class as well as members of the junior class; you may even meet your future Pres big sister.
Summer Camps
