The Drama Department produces two major shows a year, including a musical. Students audition for play roles. Male roles are filled by students from surrounding high schools. Productions have been given at Spalding Auditorium.
This year’s productions were GREASE and THE CHILDREN’S HOUR.
The Top Hat Drama Club meets after school and is open to all students to provide skills and training in the theatre arts. Students from this club present a showcase each year. Students are already rehearsing for a big musical revue to be given sometime in August, 2006.
This summer, there will be a workshop in theatre in June. For more information, contact the school or Drama Director Charlie Douglas at 583-5935.
