Eighth	STS High School Placement Test

Freshmen	Explore
	A program designed to help freshmen explore a wide range of options for their future. Explore also serves as a baseline to monitor academic progress and identify strengths and weaknesses in a student’s educational development. For more information: www.actstudent.org/explore

Sophomores	PSAT

Juniors	PSAT
	A standardized test that gives sophomores the opportunity to practice for future testing. www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/psat/about.html

	ACT
	High School Code: 181595 Site Number: 215110 A standardized test that measures skills in English, Mathematics, Reading and Science Reasoning. For more information: www.actstudent.org. Dates ACT will be offered at Presentation Academy: April 9, 2011 June 11, 2011

	SAT
	High School Code: 181595 Reasoning Test (SAT I): A three-hour test that measures verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities. For more information: www.collegeboard.com. Upcoming SAT dates: March 12, 2011 May 7, 2011 June 4, 2011 Subject Tests (SAT II): Standardized tests that are one-hour in length that measure knowledge of particular subjects and a student’s ability to apply that knowledge.

	Advance Placement Exams
	The Advance Placement Program is designed to provide college credit to students who have completed a college-level class.
