ACADEMIC INFORMATION

The educational program at Presentation Academy is designed to provide a solid foundation for all educational experiences beyond high school, but especially for academic success in college.  Through a varied curriculum, students are challenged to function at competency levels commensurate with their abilities and interests. They are given the responsibility of organizing their time, and they play an active role in obtaining the best education possible.  Students meeting specific academic requirements may apply to take courses at Spalding University.


SCHOLASTIC REQUIRMENTS

To receive a diploma from Presentation Academy, a student is required to complete a minimum of 28 credits.  Required classes:

The following meet the current requirements for the Kentucky Pre-College curriculum.  These courses of study are required for unconditional admission to many state universities:

Mathematics

Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and one other  math course

Science

3 credits

Credits to include: Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth/Space Science

Social Studies

3 credits

Credits to include:  U.S. History, Economics, Government, World Geography, and World Civilizations

Health
